Unilever has announced the acquisition of the premium brand K18TM, known for its innovative use of biomimetic science to revolutionize hair care. This milestone acquisition shines a spotlight on the pioneering research efforts of Solfarcos, the biotech company behind the groundbreaking K18TM Peptide technology.

Developed by a team of researchers led by Prof. Artur Cavaco-Paulo back at the Centre of Biological Engineering (University of Minho, Portugal) and Solfarcos, K18TM products stand as a testament to the company’s commitment to push the scientific innovation boundaries. This unique peptide inserts into the keratin structure which garnered it acclaim for its ability to swiftly reverse chemical damage on all hair types, offering consumers immediate and tangible results.
